Description
Vinos Masintin focuses on highlighting the unique terroirs of Chile, namely the Itata Valley and Maule Valley’s. Maule is warm with Andes influences, whilst Itata has a cool Mediterranean climate due to the Pacific Ocean and Andes. Their approach to winemaking is also sustainable and pesticide free, and they use concrete eggs, amphorae, French barrels and stainless steel.
The Blanco de Itata showcases Semillon and Moscatel, using Marsannay barrels for aging. This wine is reminiscent in style of Vin Jaune, with fresh stone fruit, orange peel and white flowers, a bracing acidity and a textural mouthfeel.
