Description
The grapes for this Soave are grown on the volcanic soils around Monteforte d’Alpone and made by the town’s go-ahead cooperative. Gentle pressing followed by careful, chilled racking into stainless steel tanks for fermentation is the order of the day here. It yields an aromatic wine with attractive aromas of peach, pineapple, honey, ginger, citrus fruits and hints of almond. There is some weight on the palate and a soft slightly creamy texture plus a bit of honey, stem ginger and nuts. It’s all very well balanced with a zesty, citrus finish.
