Simple Things Fermentations are a small independent brewery based in Glasgows Southside, they celebrate the variety of possibilities in brewing and avoid taking the obvious path wherever possible.
Proudto be a Scottish brewery and embrace the vast history that this imparts, but also progressive, innovative and brew beer for the 21st century.
This is a malt-forward beer with toasty rather than roasty notes to the fore, alongside caramel, toffee, a gentle orchard fruitiness from restrained esters, and a hint of peat smoke. A balancing bitterness prevents the finish from being cloying but theres enough residual sweetness to leave a satisfying mouthfeel that belies the low ABV.
