Description
Spice Route was created in 1998 after wine-maker Charles Back tried a certain Sauvignon Blanc and decided to immediately buy the land it was grown on due to the exceptional quality. The wines are made using the most minimal intervention from humans to get the optimum quality from the fruit.
Intense ruby red colour. Black plums and cherries on the nose, with dark spice and cedar. Fresh dark fruits complemented by firm but elegant tannin and lingering spice.
