Douglas Laing have been independent bottlers since 1948.
This lovely whisky is part of a series which aims to provide us with whiskies that give us typicity for each Scottish Whisky region.
Please don’t turn your nose up because this is a blend. In this case the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts. Scallywag is rich and spicy – the whiskies contained within come from the following distilleries: Macallan and Glenfiddich.
On the palate layers of sweet stewed fruits, zesty orange, ginger, dark chocolate and cinnamon.
