Douglas Laing have been independent bottlers since 1948.
This lovely whisky is part of a series which aims to provide us with whiskies that give us typicity for each Scottish Whisky region.
Please don’t turn your nose up because this is a blend. In this case the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts. Rock Island is fresh and salty – the whiskies contained within come from the following distilleries: Talisker, Highland Park and Arran
On the palate soft, sweet peat, smoke, honey and damp ash, a touch of liquorice and a dash of pepper.
