Description
Quinta Milu is situated in the Ribera Del Duero in Spain. This area is well known for producing big, expressive wines – however the wines produced at this vineyard are much more elegant and reserved in style. Using traditional methods such as foot treading and minimal handling these wines are both rustic and delicately made.
La Cometa is a rich and satisfying wine from micro producer Quinta Milu. Produced from the excellent 2019 vintage of Ribera del Duero Tempranillo which wereaged for 13 months in French Oak barrels. This created a medium to full bodied wine with savoury spice, youthful black fruit and hints of black olive. This rich fruit is well balanced by bright acidity which ensures a vitality and freshness to the wine.
