Description
Powers Johns Lane is a wonderful 12 year old single pot still release. It is matured in both Olorosso Sherry casks as well as Bourbon casks. It has featured at every Oliver family Christmas since 2007 and I can tell you it’s not Christmas if we don’t have one of these stashed away.
I love the vanilla notes, the smoothness of it. The raisiny fruit flavours are reminiscent of a beautiful boozy fruit cake and the balance is spot on. I love this whiskey and I’m so pleased to be able to offer it on the shelves at Seven Cellars. True Dublin style Irish whisky.
