Description
This cool climate Syrah is the result of careful hand picking and treatment in the winery, creating a delicacy and finesse that is sometimes lost in South African Syrah. It still is spicy and rich with velvety texture and flavours of black forest fruits and coriander.
Franschhoek is one of South Africa’s many premium wine regions. The vines for this Semillon were planted in 1936, this alongside high density planting in the vineyard makes perfect conditions for highly concentrated fruit. This wine is textured and uncompromising with a depth of citrus rind, granite and exotic green fruit flavours. This has a seriously long finish flaunting a biting, chalky texture.
