Michisakari – Morning Dew – Junmai

Description

Michisakari is a brewery located in the Gifu region of Japan and have been in operation for the last 250 years, although they have been focussing in the last 50 years primarily on producing top quality dry sakes. It is now considered as the best producer of dry style sakes in Japan, which was a result of the ‘President’s’ love for this style. It was a huge risk as sweeter styles are generally preferred yet it has found it’s place in the market for connoisseurs of the style.

Morning Dew is a Junmai sake with a fresh, vibrant, fruit-led nose. On the palate it is light and peppery with lingering flavours of berry and honey.
