Matifoc – Rancio Sec – France

Description

Abbe Rous continues the age old tradition of producing Rancio Sec wines that have been produced for several centuries longer than Banyuls wines.

This traditional style of dry wine is produced from old vine 100% Grenache Noir. The wine is aged for up to 4 years in 600 litre Banyuls Demi mules and then undergoes further oxidative ageing in cellar. Enjoy with tapas or drink on it’s own lightly chilled.
