Mas Des Agrunelles is situated in the well regarded Terrasses du Larzac area of Montpellier, Southern France. Winemaking duo Frederic and Stephanie focus on gentle extraction, expressing subtle representations of typical southern French varieties.
The name Carmin comes from its colour, in English Carmine, the natural bright red pigment. It is made up from a Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blend, with elevated flavours and aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry on the front palate, following through with lingering notes of leather and black pepper. The tannins are soft and integrated, complimenting the full, rounded mouthfeel.
