Lindes San Vicente – ‘Remelluri’ Rioja

Granja Nuestra Seora de Remelluri (Our Lady of Remelluri) is a traditional bodega in Rioja – north-central Spain. This bodega has vineyards in two villages; Labastida Alava and San Vicente de La Sonsierra in the sub region called Rioja Alta. Until 2009 the grapes from the two vineyards were used interchangeably, but since 2009 two new wines have been created using grapes exclusively from each of the villages. The wines are now known as “Lindes de Remelluri Viedos de Labastida” and “Lindes de Remelluri Viedos de San Vicente”. Here we have the San Vicente.

These wines have different flavour profiles but in common they garner extremely high ratings.

This is a blend of Tempranillo and Grenache which has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and for 24 months in the bottle.
