Lacuesta – Vermouth Reserva Red Oak

Description

Vermouth is a wine that has been “pimped” if you’ll excuse the term, sometimes known as having been “Aromatised” with a huge vairety of herbs, spices, roots, flowers, seeds, spices and barks. It is then fortified with a distilled alcohol which helps to keep it open and drinkable for longer than a wine. The name Vermouth has its origins from the German word “wermut” which means wormwood.

Lacuesta have been making traditional vermouth since 1937. This has been aged in new French, freshly toasted oak andpresents abitter, aromatic taste with an intense amber colour, underlying toasted aromas and the particular flavour which recalls traditional vermouths.
