Tatenokawa is a sake brewery that has been around for 180 years! They focus on quality and have passed the sake recipes down through the generations. In more recent times the current sake master brewer (the Toji) reduced the production to one type of sake – the premier cru style that is made to the highest quality. This changed the breweries fortunes greatly and made a gain in it’s reputation. They are now ambitious to make the best sake in the world.
Kodakara Nanko is a plum sake (or Umeshu) made from Nanko plums. It is rich and decadent, balancing the tart nature of the plums perfectly.
