Description
Izadi (meaning ‘nature’ in the Basque language) is a family run operation in the Rioja area of Spain. It was started with the purpose of creating food-friendly wines that were made to the highest standard. The vineyard is found at a high altitude which contributes to the elegance and all-round balanced flavour of the wines created.
Shiny ruby red in colour. Rich aromatic intensity and a nice balance of red fruit, liquorice and spices, with hints of smoke in the background. Elegant and round on the palate with a long aftertaste full of floral and ripe fruit notes.
