This wonderful Amontillado has had more than 30 years ageing in oak and this makes it INTENSE!
Here we have a complex, dark and concentrated explosion of flavour. This sherry is dry with delicious hints of leather, cedar toasted almond and walnuts, dried figs and caramel. What a food partner too. Experiment with equally intense food – so think braised and roasted beef – all the cheeses and pate.
