Description
Dry, rich, and exquisite Bodegas El Maestro’s Sierra sherry has been matured for 15 years in a solera system. It is produced using a traditional technique that involves partially filling old barrels with base wine and fortifying them to 18% to prevent the development of yeasts. The wine is then aged in 500-liter American oak barrels before being bottled unfiltered.
It has a persistent and structured flavour and intriguing aromas of salted caramel, exotic spices, and hazelnuts. Bodegas El Maestro Sierra’s wines are renowned for their exceptional maturity and quality and have won many accolades from all over the world, including being named in the top 100 wineries twice!
