Specifically the 2020 vintage has aromas of baking spices and a creamy, rich mouthfeel, which hint at some oak influence. With berry fruit and mineral flavours still in balance, it exhibits depth and concentration and has a lingering, delectable finish. The wine has a fresh quality, hard and tight tannins, and a black fruited, robust personality. It also pairs nicely with roast beef, duck parmentier, guinea fowl, and Reblochon.
