Clonakilla – Hilltops Shiraz

Description

Clonakilla is one of the leading estates in Australia, with an enviable reputation for the production of Shiraz and Viognier grapes. It was first established by John Kirk in 1971 when he bought a 44 acre farm near the village of Murrumbateman, 40 kilometres north of Canberra.

This Shiraz is aged for 11 months in oak barrels and has ripe dark fruit flavours with deep concentrated black cherry and blackberry with fine grained tannins and a solid acidic backbone providing great balance.
