Description
The Cistercian Trappist monks of Chimay have been brewing since 1862, with their abbey being located on the site of a well which provides pure water for the beer.
Chimay Rouge is a brown beer with distinctive sweet and fruity flavours of caramel and apricot with a delicate touch of spice. Bitter astringency tempers the sweetness and is what makes this beer the refreshingclassic it is.Best served in a chalice glass.
