Description
The Joan Anguera winery is certified biodynamic since starting work towards this in 2011 – head grafting new grape varietals onto existing vines and replacing trellising systems for more ecologically friendly options. They also changed the style of wines they made (they being two brothers Joan and Josep who run the winery) deciding to highlight the delicate, lighter side of local grape varietals they use in making their wine over the previous more muscular, full-bodied style.
A light, floral and crunchy style Garnacha, made using minimal oak ageing and grown on old vines. It has flavours of fresh strawberry and red cherry, a perfect quaffing wine.
