Description
Casa Ferreirinha is situated in the Douro area of Portugal. This is a typically hot area which is reflected in the wines – they are concentrated in body and flavour.
The Vinha Grande has a deep ruby colour with an intense and complex nose, combining aromas of oak, red fruits, black pepper and violet. The palate has good acidity and volume, coupled with smooth tannins and an exquisite minerality. This is completedby a strong finish. It is recommended that this wine be decanted.
