Casa Ferreirinha is situated in the Douro area of Portugal. This is a typically hot area which is reflected in the wines – they are concentrated in body and flavour.
This is a well-balanced red with pronounced flavours of dark forest fruits and with hints of black pepper. It has integrated tannins that support the body of the wine with a crisp acidity. Ideally to be enjoyed now, but could age up to 5 years.
