Frank Boon is regarded as the modern day saviourof Lambic beers which are defined by their characteristic tart flavour thanks to the use of wild yeast. The yeasts of the atmosphere descend into open vessels in the brewery and fermentation continues in large wooden casks. Geuze is a blend of a young lambic typically 6 months old and a lambic with a more mature vintage, in this case a 3 year old lambic.
Geuze Marriage Parfait has toasty and Chardonnay like notes with a mild acidity typically found in Champagne or sparkling wine. It is soft but full bodied with flavours of citrus and oak and a long dry finish.
