Description
The Isle of Arran is situated just off the west coast of Scotland, in Lochranza, as the waters of Loch na Davie were deeemed perfect for distilling the whisky. It’s been almost 30 years since distilling began with a second distillery having been opened at Lagg.
Specially selected Bordeauxcasksfrom the Sauternes region are used to ‘finish’ the single malt whsky after having been aged for eight years in oak casks. this leads to a whisky on the the sweeter side with notes of apricot, melon, honey, and touches of warm spice and lemon zest.
Enjoy with a dessert, maybe sticky toffee pudding.
