Celebrate Ardnamurchan’s 10th birthday with us! The Ardnamurchan 10-Year-Old Whisky offers a unique and pure expression from Scotland’s westernmost mainland distillery. Ardnamurchan might well be the most remote distillery in Scotland, situated on the rugged west coast.
This is the very first 10 year release from Ardnamurchan and so I’m sure will be a collectors item in years to come. Crafted with locally sourced barley and pure spring water, this single malt showcases a soft, floral profile that leans into fresh, coastal influences. Expect bright notes of orchard fruits, like crisp apple and pear, followed by layers of vanilla, honey, and a hint of spice.
Its 10-year maturation in oak barrels gives it a smooth, balanced mouthfeel, with subtle oakiness that complements the whisky’s natural sweetness. A gentle, mineral-like salinity and touch of citrus lend a maritime freshness that rounds out its finish. Perfect for those who enjoy a lighter, more delicate style without the intensity of peat smoke. Of course the barrels are a bit special too. Made using both Paul Launois barriques and bourbon casks – to create the rich depth of flavour Ardnamurchan is so well known for.
