Albourne Estate – Vermouth 40

Description

This is a semi-dry Vermouth from Albourne Estate in West Sussex. the 40 refers to the 40 different botanicals and herbs used to give this the flavour that it has. The base wine is mainly Chardonnay, some of which has spent some time in oak. The 40 herbs are secret but it does, of course, include wormwood which is used in all vermouths.

Drink on it’s own or over ice, it’s also great in cocktails. Enjoy with strong cheese or cured meats.
