Description
Located in the Edna Valley the Alban Vineyard was the first vineyard in this area dedicated to growing the varietals of the Rhone, namely Syrah and Grenache as they are ideally suited to the climate. John Alban is considered a key cog in the wheel that transformed the California wine scene to what it is today.
This viognier is rich and full on the palate, it’s an intense, aromatic white with upfront fruit flavours of fleshy stone fruits and ripe lychee, pear and with a floral character that balances these qualities.
